This pase is work in progress.

General books

The adventures of Tom Sawyer, M. Twain (Jan 8 - Jan 15)
A classic, and a bargain at 4 EUR. I had never read the original version before, so here it goes.

Hush Hush, J. Patterson (Jan 22 - Jan 26)
My first Patterson book—pretty good! The characters are really, really good and I enjoyed reading it throughout.

Lost, J. Patterson (Feb 16 - Feb 18)
I decided to continue on the Patternson binge and it didn’t disappoint. Another nice novel that I devoured in a single weekend.

Never let me go, K. Ishiguro (Mar 8 - Mar 23)
The first time ever that I read something from the Nobel graduate. A book that needs time to be digested. I loved how the plot unfolds, disclosing twists and turns with such a spontaneity that…it makes them feel real. The first person narration only makes it realer.
Even so, the story, that initially seems a bit silly, childish almost, takes a “sinister turn” and touches deep in the vastity of human, and society behavior. Which surprised me, and left me thinking. Cannot ask more from a book.

Technical books

The elements of computing systems, N.Nisan and S. Schocken (Mar 26 - )
WIP

Essays and short stories
